Ethylen Patricia Bennett went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 27, 2016. She was born in Pierson, Florida, to the late Charlton and Mildred Bennett. In 1957, she graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in education, and she taught at Pensacola Christian School, until leaving to be a missionary in Japan. In her later years, she moved to Hawaii to be a missionary to the Japanese community. She is survived by one brother, Darwin Bennett; a niece, Lori Bennett Rimar; and a nephew, David Bennett. Ethylen Patricia Bennett went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 27, 2016. She was born in Pierson, Florida, to the late Charlton and Mildred Bennett. In 1957, she graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in education, and she taught at Pensacola Christian School, until leaving to be a missionary in Japan. In her later years, she moved to Hawaii to be a missionary to the Japanese community. She is survived by one brother, Darwin Bennett; a niece, Lori Bennett Rimar; and a nephew, David Bennett. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by one sibling, Andrew Madison Bennett. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
